Business-Friendly Policy

For this discussion, refer to the two tables you reviewed from the Statistical Abstract of the United States in this unit’s study assignment. Using the tables:

• Identify the business categories in the U.S.
• Compare the number of returns for each type of business to the size of the business receipts for each type of business.
• Compare the number of business in each type against the number of employees employed by each business type.

Based on this data, answer these two questions:

• What sort of business-friendly policies should be implemented (for example, subsidized credit, tax breaks, or unemployment insurance leniency)?
• What policies would have the biggest benefits for the U.S.?

Using the drawing tools from Word or Excel, illustrate how these policies would work using a circular flow diagram. Post your work in the discussion area.
